DISPERBYK-102

DISPERBYK-102 is a solvent-free wetting and dispersing additive that improves the color acceptance of universal colorants of inorganic pigments in base coatings. As a post-additive, DISPERBYK 102 can be used at 0.5-2% to enhance color strength and uniformity. The additive deflocculates pigments through steric stabilization, reducing agglomeration. This results in better dispersion of pigment particles in the matrix. DISPERBYK-102 is primarily recommended for universal colorants based on DISPERBYK-185. It lowers viscosity and increases color intensity. DISPERBYK-102 can be incorporated before or after pigments for the manufacturing of high-performance materials where uniform pigment dispersion and color consistency is important.
