TROYCAT ZINC 16

TROYCAT ZINC 16 is a zinc salt produced from a blend of synthetic acids assuring product stability and uniformity. It is used as an auxiliary drier whose principal function is to improve film hardness in applications. This is achieved by allowing the film to remain open allowing for freer access to oxygen, permitting hardening throughout the entire film and preventing wrinkling of thick films. TROYCAT ZINC 16 provides antioxidant properties and exceptional pigment wetting properties. It is commonly used at 0.05 to 0.2 percent metal based on resin solids. TROYCAT ZINC 16 is suitable for applications requiring durability, longevity and protection from environmental elements.
