DISPERBYK-107

DISPERBYK-107 is a wetting and dispersing additive suitable for all pigments. It is a solution of a hydroxy-functional carboxylic acid ester with pigment affinic groups. DISPERBYK-107 deflocculates pigments through steric stabilization, achieving small particle sizes. This leads to high gloss, improved color strength, transparency and hiding power. It also reduces viscosity, improving leveling and allowing for higher pigment loading. DISPERBYK-107 is especially effective for inorganic and organic pigments, as well as fillers. It stabilizes white pigments, preventing floating and flooding for better color acceptance. Formulated products show increased percentage of fillers without reducing gloss. DISPERBYK-107 enables efficient pigment dispersion and stabilization in concentrated solutions.
