BYK-P 9080

BYK P 9080 is a processing additive used in low-profile and class A composite systems. It stabilizes the compound and improves flow behavior. BYK P 9080 completely replaces traditional release agents, bringing improved surface quality and better adhesion. It allows for an excellent mold release, resulting in a smoother surface finish on components. BYK P 9080 also enables better coating adhesion and bonding durability. Recommended at 4-5% based on total resin, it can replace Zn/Ca-stearate systems with comparable thickening when using additional MgO. BYK P 9080 additive optimizes processing and enhances mechanical properties and surface characteristics for demanding high-performance applications.
