BYK-MAX D 4220

BYK MAX D 4220 is a liquid wetting and dispersing additive used in the production of liquid colorants. BYK MAX D 4220 significantly reduces the viscosity of liquid colorants containing inorganic, organic and carbon black pigments when producing liquid color masterbatches. This enables greater pigmentation levels and improved dispersion of pigments. BYK MAX D 4220 contains a combination of anionic and amphoteric surfactants which allow for better wetting and de-agglomeration of pigment particles. Its use in liquid colorants enhances pigment wettability and stability. The reduced viscosity provided by BYK MAX D 4220 makes liquid colorants incorporating it easier to handle and process during production of advanced materials where precise color consistency is required.
