DISPERGUM R

DISPERGUM R is a processing aid which acts as a lubricant and dispersing agent for filler materials. As a zinc soap compound, DISPERGUM R contains zinc salts of defined saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, combined with lubricants. It has been shown to facilitate mixing and processing of advanced composite materials, saving energy through cooler mixing processes and lower viscosities. The reduced viscosity allows for improved dispersion of fillers and other additives within advanced material formulations. As a mild peptizing agent, DISPERGUM R at dosages between 2-5 phr has been used in applications like extruded sections, microcellular rubbers and injection/transfer molding where it helps process advanced materials more efficiently.
