DISPERBYK-161 is a high performance wetting and dispersing additive suitable for stabilizing pigments with fine particle sizes as well as organic pigments. Particularly recommended for solvent-borne systems. DISPERBYK-161 provides equal electrical charge to pigment particles, preventing co-flocculation which leads to improved properties such as higher gloss, color strength and hiding power. The deflocculating effect of DISPERBYK-161 increases transparency and reduces viscosity.
