CERAFLOUR 1000

CERAFLOUR 1000 is a biodegradable, micronized polymer with wax-like properties based on renewable raw materials. It can be used for aqueous, solvent-borne, solvent-free, and UV systems for matting and improving the surface protection and soft feel effect. CERAFLOUR 1000 enhances scratch resistance and improves the anti-blocking properties in advanced material coatings. It has a matting effect, especially in radiation curable systems, and produces transparent coatings. CERAFLOUR 1000 is readily biodegradable and is composed of > 97% renewable raw materials. It provides an excellent soft feel effect and improves properties like scratch resistance without affecting viscosity, surface slip or foam stabilization in advanced material formulations. CERAFLOUR 1000 is recommended for use in aqueous, solvent-borne, solvent-free, and UV systems at 1-10% based on the total formulation.
