BYK-1785

BYK 1785 is an APEO free emulsion of a polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane with hydrophobic solids. BYK 1785 is highly effective in removing application-related microfoam in systems with low to high layer thickness applied by airless or airmix methods. It influences neither the transparency nor gloss in high-gloss systems. BYK 1785 can be used in pigmented systems and clear coatings. BYK 1785 is recommended for use between 0.3-1.5% based on total formulation. It provides excellent foam removal without affecting the key performance properties of the coating, making it suitable for a wide range of coating and construction applications.
