DL-A-TOCOPHERYL ACETATE is a viscous, practically odourless oil with 96.5-102.0% content of all-rac-a-tocopheryl acetate. 1 mg of DL-A-TOCOPHERYL ACETATE is equivalent to 1.0 IU of vitamin E. It is used as an antioxidant preservative in the pharmaceutical industry. DL-A-TOCOPHERYL ACETATE protects active pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients from oxidation, thereby extending shelf life and ensuring product stability and quality.
