TROYMAX MANGANESE 6

TROYMAX MANGANESE 6 is a manganese carboxylate of mixed synthetic acids in an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent. It is frequently utilized as a catalyst to increase the drying rate of air-initiated oxidative-drying coatings. Unlike cobalt driers, its activity is not as adversely affected by lower temperatures. TROYMAX MANGANESE 6 provides benefits for applications requiring faster drying times even at cooler temperatures. It can be used between 0.02% to 0.1% manganese metal calculated on resin solids to optimize drying performance.
