DISPERBYK-2018

DISPERBYK-2018 is a VOC-free wetting and dispersing additive specially developed for aqueous systems. It deflocculates pigments by means of electrosteric stabilization. DISPERBYK-2018 has been optimized for inorganic pigments and transparent iron oxides. As a result of the small particle size of the deflocculated pigments, products made with DISPERBYK-2018 achieve high levels of transparency and reduced viscosity. This enables formulations to include a higher pigment content. DISPERBYK-2018 can also be used in alkaline systems. The highly deflocculating effect of DISPERBYK-2018 ensures products have high color strength and gloss, low haze values. Formulations manufactured using DISPERBYK-2018 also have improved storage stability. DISPERBYK-2018 is suitable for applications that require optimized performance, coverage and durability.
