BYK-3451

BYK 3451 is a silicone surfactant that provides significant reduction in surface tension. Particularly suitable for improving the wetting of aqueous systems on very non-polar substrates used in certain advanced material applications. BYK 3451 especially improves substrate wetting on non-polar substrates, such as those used in specific advanced material processes, as well as leveling. It does not increase the surface slip. BYK 3451 is characterized by its good substrate wetting properties, particularly also with thin-layered application. BYK 3451 can help optimize wetting and adhesion of aqueous formulations applied to non-polar substrate surfaces in certain advanced material manufacturing techniques.
