MERGAL 712F

Mergal® 712F is a wet-state broad-spectrum preservative, BIT/MIT/CMIT based, formaldehyde free, used to avoid deterioration and degradation of aqueous systems caused by bacteria, fungi and yeast. Mergal® 712F is useful for the wet-state protection of various waterborne end-use products, such as paints, coatings, stucco, polymer dispersions, adhesives, sealants, inks and other industrial applications. Further it is suitable for metalworking-fluids as post-treatment. Mergal® 712F was designed specifically for the protection of water borne systems in which formaldehyde is a major concern. It does not cause an alkaline pH shift when incorporated into the end product and is therefore suitable for pH-sensitive systems.This product is suitable for systems with a pH of 3 - 9 and at a temperature up to 60 °C.
