DISPERBYK-2025

DISPERBYK 2025 is a wetting and dispersing additive suitable for solvent-borne coatings and pigment concentrates. As a solution of a structured acrylate copolymer, DISPERBYK 2025 deflocculates pigments through steric stabilization and uniform electrical charge generation. This prevents coflocculation leading to non-floating coloring. As a result, products achieve high gloss and improved color strength and transparency. The reduced viscosity also enhances leveling properties and allows for higher pigment loading. DISPERBYK 2025 is compatible with various binder systems and can be used for pigment grinding with or without binder. It is especially suitable for the advanced materials industry as it allows for enhanced pigment dispersion and higher loading levels, enabling improved material performance, quality and lifespan.
