INDOPOL H-7 is a polybutene that provides excellent properties for various applications. With a molecular weight of 440 and polydispersity index of 1.80, INDOPOL H-7 offers consistent performance. INDOPOL H-7 has a high flash point of over 145°C and a low turbidity below 4 NTU. The low acid number of less than 0.05 mg KOH/g and chlorine content of 60 ppm make it suitable for various applications. INDOPOL H-7 has a bromine number of 40 g Br2/100g and contains less than 5 ppm of sulfur. These characteristics along with a low pour point of -36°C, viscosity index of 90 and refractive index of 1.474 provide benefits such as durability and reliability. INDOPOL H-7 is permanently non-drying, colourless and non-staining, emulsifiable, excellent electrical insulator, good lubricant / shear stable, non-corrosive, practically non-toxic, stable to light and air (i.e. oxidatively stable) under ambient conditions, low pour point, complete depolymerisation.
