DISPERBYK-199

DISPERBYK-199 is a VOC-free wetting and dispersing additive used for stabilizing inorganic and organic pigments in aqueous coatings and pigment concentrates. As a copolymer with pigment-affinio groups, DISPERBYK-199 uses electrosteric stabilization to deflocculate pigments, resulting in smaller particle sizes, higher gloss, improved color strength, transparency, hiding power and reduced viscosity. The smaller pigment particles allow for a higher loading capacity. This product represents an alternative to other high molecular weight additives and is suitable for various pigment types.
