BYK-S 732

BYK S 732 is a solvent-free air release additive with wetting properties. It can be used for ambient-curing epoxide and polyurethane systems. BYK S 732 prevents air entrapment and porosity in reinforced/filled ambient-curing systems. It reduces surface tension, which improves wetting of reinforcement materials such as fibers and silica sand. This leads to uniform and bubble-free films or coatings with increased strength. BYK S 732 can be incorporated at 0.1-1% in formulations. It must be homogeneously stirred into the resin prior to addition of the hardener. When added to filled systems prior to fillers, it immediately removes the air that is stirred in during production. BYK S 732 helps formulating high-performance, durable and reliable products with extended lifetime and minimal downtime.
