BYK-370

BYK 370 is a silicone-containing surface additive that is polyester-modified for solvent-borne coating systems. BYK 370 strongly reduces surface tension and improves surface slip, solvent and weather resistance, anti-blocking and reduces susceptibility to dirt for coatings. As a reactive additive, BYK 370 can be incorporated into the polymer network and anchored in the coating surface, allowing its properties to remain present longer than conventional non-reactive silicones. BYK 370 also reduces surface tension, improving substrate wetting, leveling and preventing Bénard cells formation. As an additive for solvent-borne two-pack polyurethane systems and other binders like alkyd/melamine, polyester/melamine etc, BYK 370 can benefit advanced material coatings by improving their slip, durability, anti-soiling properties and substrate adhesion for various industrial applications.
